More than 35 years in medicine
He graduated from Gaziantep High School in 1983; after studying Industrial Engineering at Boğaziçi University and medicine at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, he became a cardiologist at Siyami Ersek Heart Hospital. In 2000 he took part in founding the Department of Cardiology at Gaziantep University, and in 2006 he became a professor. In 2025 he opened his own clinic.
